Steigenberger Hotel Koeln - Cologne

Very very good breakfast with many options to choose from, excellent drinks. Huge and functional rooms with seperate dressing, WELCOMING staff. Marvellous setting in the very quiet area, so close to 3 of the Christmas markets : Heavenue as well as hundreds of restaurants. Next to Hahnentorburg.

Spa area needs an urgent renovation!!

I had high expectations since this was a 4* hotel - but did not live to my expectations. The price was quite high and I could have easily got the facilities in a 3* hotel. The stay wasn't that bad but the expectations were high given the way the hotel advertises its room. I had non-smoking preference (since we had an infant) but we were given a smoking room. They changed it though and I felt great. Later, I found that the next room had coffee making facilities but no water kettle ... I asked for it and they said they will bring it - they never did and for next 3 hrs they didn't pick up the phone again. Also, they said free sauna - but I didn't get access as promised. Didn't try the hotel restaurant - cannot comment on that. I would hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

sheets uncomfortable, didnt place a lot of amenities in the room like toothbrush, shaver, slipers, bath rope, sawing kit, etc unless asked, room service was average, pool was closed for no reason, towels and locker keys were not at reach

Family with children, really nice stay

Had an amazing breakfast with the best coffee and variety that I've seen. The room was huge for all of us, even with a sofa bed that was surprisingly comfy. Plus, I loved that they had free flavored water in the lobby every morning, really refreshing after a long day.

It wasn't cheap, but worth it in the end.

Particularly good and fantastic location near to nice restaurants and bars and most tourist attractions, great food...

It's a good hotel.staff is friendly. The rooms are nice size and the location is good.

The hotel is olld looking on the inside.the rooms including the bathrooms need to be updated.the curtains were stained and soiled. The carpet had spots.the prices are cologne city prices and the hotel should look younger than it is.

Location is near the centre(about 5 - 8 minutes walk) and the car park is situated below so very useful. Hotel was clean enough and my room was very large with good bed. Free Wi-Fi(weak signal on the 10th floor) is a welcome. A little old looking hotel from the outside but for a few days stay this hotel was very good. Breakfast was included and the quality was good. I have no complaints.

i was have to check out and then check in again on next day. so stupid ..first night good rate. second night real expensive and no breakfast. extra 20€ for normal breakfast buffet. bit too expensive

Internet wifi very slow in rooms

The room was spacious, but I heard snoring from the next door.

Friendly staff, good beds and an amazing location at Rudolfplatz. Everything in the centre is accessible on foot.
